The coldest temperature in Pakistan was recorded in Kalam at minus 6, Parachinar at minus 4, Upper Dir at minus 3 and Saidu Swat at minus 2.
According to the Meteorological Department, Drosh Chitral, Timergara, Balakot recorded minus one and Mir Khani and Chitral recorded zero degrees Celsius.
Similarly, Malam Jabba recorded one, Kakul, Chitral recorded three degrees Celsius. The weather is likely to remain dry and very cold in most districts of the province and severe cold in the upper and hilly districts.
Fog is likely to prevail in the plain areas of the province, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Karak, Bannu, Lakki, while Tank and Dera Ismail Khan are likely to remain foggy especially on the Motorway, National Highway and GT Road in the early morning and at night.cold in Pakistan
