US launches powerful strike against ISIS terrorists in Nigeria

US President Donald Trump said in a message on social media that the War Department carried out very precise and successful strikes, saying that ISIS was killing Christians in the area with a ruthlessness not seen in centuries.
Trump warned in a message on social media that there would be severe consequences if the violence did not stop.
The operation came at a time when Trump had directed the planning of possible military actions in the wake of allegations of violence against Christians in Nigeria a few weeks ago.
The US State Department has also recently announced visa restrictions on Nigerians involved in violence against Christians and their families.
On the other hand, the Nigerian government says that armed groups target both Muslim and Christian communities in the country.
