Iran to Unveil Over 20 Nuclear Achievements During Ten-Day Dawn Celebrations
Iran is set to unveil more than 20 new nuclear-related achievements in the coming days, according to Mohammad Eslami, President of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and Vice President.
Speaking in an interview, Eslami said the achievements will be presented during the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations, which mark the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution. He noted that the innovations span medicine, healthcare, environmental protection, and industrial applications, highlighting the peaceful and scientific use of nuclear technology.
“These accomplishments demonstrate how nuclear science can directly improve quality of life,” Eslami said, emphasizing the AEOI’s commitment to public welfare and national development.
One of the most significant breakthroughs is a newly developed radiopharmaceutical for the treatment of skin cancer. The drug has successfully completed clinical trials and has been added to Iran’s national medical supply, positioning the country among the world’s leading developers of this type of cancer treatment.
In addition, Iran has launched cold plasma-based wound treatment clinics across the country. Twelve clinics are currently operational, with further expansions planned in the near future.
Eslami also pointed to progress in advanced fields such as quantum science, laser technologies, and deuterium-related processes, describing them as forward-looking developments that strengthen Iran’s role in cutting-edge scientific research.
Further achievements in industrial, environmental, and mining sectors are expected to be unveiled gradually, reflecting Iran’s continued efforts to leverage nuclear science for sustainable development and societal benefit.
