The statement issued by the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that peaceful protests in Iran were turned violent by Zionist-backed terrorists, that protesters and security personnel were attacked between January 8 and 10, that there is undeniable evidence of Israel’s role in violence and terrorism, and that the statements of American and Israeli officials are clear evidence of incitement to violence.

According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Iran respects the right to peaceful protest, is bound by civil rights under the constitution, the state will assume full responsibility for protecting citizens and maintaining peace and order, and national security will be defended against terrorism under foreign patronage.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry says that the G7 countries' statements on Iran's internal affairs are interventionist. The G7's double standards under the US leadership in the name of human rights have been exposed. The G7 countries themselves have been guilty of serious human rights violations.

According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the G7 countries are directly involved with Israel in the genocide of the Palestinian people. The G7 has no moral justification to lecture anyone on human rights. The Iranian nation will not forget the civilian casualties in Israeli attacks in 2025.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry further said that the G7 should stop illegal interference in Iran's internal affairs, lift illegal sanctions and stop using human rights as a political weapon. Encouraging violence and terrorism in the name of human rights is unacceptable.
