Pakistan rejects Israel's recognition of Somaliland, calls Palestinian expulsion efforts unacceptable
The UN Security Council held an emergency meeting on the Israeli move to recognize Somaliland as a country. Pakistani Deputy Representative Usman Jadoon, while addressing the Security Council, rejected the Israeli announcement to recognize Somaliland.

Pakistani Deputy Representative Usman Jadoon informed the Security Council that Israel wants to deport Palestinians from Gaza to Somaliland.

Usman Jadoon said that Pakistan rejects any attempt to expel the Palestinian people. He demanded that the international community resolve the issue of Palestine through a two-state solution in accordance with the UN resolution.

He told the Security Council that the Somali government is taking steps to stabilize the country, but the Israeli behavior is irresponsible and an attempt to create instability in the region.

The Pakistani Deputy Representative clarified that this move is a clear violation of international law, and we fully support the sovereignty and integrity of Somalia.

It should be noted that Israel has officially announced its recognition of the self-proclaimed Republic of Somaliland as an independent and sovereign state. All Muslim countries have rejected the Israeli move and expressed serious concern over it.
