UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will arrive in Pakistan today
The distinguished guest is scheduled to meet with senior figures including President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the UAE President’s visit will be helpful in increasing cooperation in various sectors including bilateral trade, investment, energy and development. A holiday has been announced in Islamabad in the context of the UAE President’s visit to Pakistan. The Pakistan Secretariat and all federal institutions located within the limits of Islamabad will remain closed. The Senate Secretariat and the National Assembly Secretariat will also remain closed today. The Islamabad High Court has also declared a holiday today. According to the notification of the Registrar of the Islamabad High Court, the Islamabad High Court and the Islamabad District Courts will remain closed on December 26. The Registrar of the Federal Constitutional Court also issued a notification of a public holiday, canceling today’s cause list. According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, hospitals, banks, essential services offices, Metropolitan Corporation, CDA offices, Islamabad administration, police, IESCO and Sui Northern Gas offices in Islamabad will remain open today.
